Just call me bridesmaid!
Hi guys! My apologies for being m.i.a yesterday!! I was being a good bridesmaid and going out shopping with my friend the bride-to-be!! Her wedding is next June. We went to see her dress (which is gorgeous!!!) and then we went to check out some bridesmaid dresses for her sister and I to wear! We also went shopping for a coworker who is expecting her second child just after Christmas. So much fun and so girly!
Check out the dress we are thinking of getting for us bridesmaids!
The front:
I LOVE the sweetheart neck line – doesn’t it look great???
The back is super cute!! I love the little buttons. It actually zips up at the side so they are just there for show! Don’t mind the round white thing on my butt. That is for shoplifters. Which we are not!
The second time I tried the dress on we did up the white sash into a bow. What do you think? I thought it looked cute, but i’m not sure… shall we vote??
The bow is not perfectly done but you get the idea.
She is thinking of having white rose bouquets! Probably similar to the ones that I had!!
So, tonight is Pizza Friday in our house!! Do you have any little weekly traditions that you like to do?
We also have a DVD of our wedding that our friends made for us (so sweet!) and we are going to watch it. I’m sure it will bring back loads of memories.. I may even shed a tear or two! I can be a sap sometimes!!
I hope you are enjoying your Friday. I have spent it doing some work!! I also got an hour walk in. Don’t forget, the yoga challenge starts Sunday.. i’ll be preparing a post for it tomorrow! For those of you who haven’t joined or just don’t think its for you; don’t consider it necessarily a YOGA challenge if that title is too big for you… just consider it a stretching, breathing, taking-time-for-you challenge!
See you tomorrow!

Love the dress without the bow… But that’s just me! My yoga video came yesterday! I’m all set!
Cute dress! I like it with the bow
Wow stunning dress!!!
That is a pretty dress! I love how everyone you know is getting married! Weddings, weddings, every where! My sister is getting married in May, so we just picked out our bridesmaid dresses too.
Wonderful dress — very flattering. I like the bow.
I like the bow!
Can’t wait for the yoga challenge eheh
That dress is beautiful! I really like it. And I think I prefer it without the bow.
Our weekly tradition here is basically the whole family going grocery shopping every saturday morning
fantastic dress! adore bow on the back, it gives it a little something different than the norm.. love it! enjoy pizza friday
when i lived in sweden, my husband and i had candy saturday but the states candy isn’t up to par so we went away with the tradition when we moved back. hope you have a fun weekend!
I like the bow! It’s a really pretty dress.
Very pretty dress. I say if you are matching anyways, then go with the bow! I think I’ll joing the yoga challenge with a mini challenge and maybe I’ll get more into it as I move along!
I love it with the bow and Im not a bow person!
That’s a very pretty dress. The bow is OK, but not sure if I’d want one on my butt all day. Might get flattened after sitting down…
I love the dress. I hate to say, “You could totally wear that again!” but you could totally wear that again.
Sounds like such a fun day Leah! The dress is just GORGEOUS! Simple, yet totally elegent. With the bow, I think it looks great both ways, but it depends on the look you are going for. If you tie it in a bow, it definitely has a more elegent, sophisticated, classy feel. But the undone bow looks more casual, relaxed, and “pretty.” I think it really depends on the mood of the wedding! Personally, I think my vote goes for the more UNDONE look.

Oh, that dress is fabulous! My favorite feature is the sash/bow. You totally rock it!
I’m not usually a bow person either but I like it with the bow – it’s so pretty. Where is it from?
