Sophie turns 2!
Little miss turned two today!
I have felt so incredibly proud of Sophie all day today. I mean, I do every day but today I just felt such a huge joy to be her mom. I love how she sings Happy Birthday and when you ask her how old she is today she yells two!
She has been receiving cards and presents left, right and centre. I don’t think, even at two that she quite gets why she’s always opening things wrapped in paper but she has been loving it nonetheless.
There was no way she was going to let Daddy put together her baby’s crib on his own!
Yay! It’s done!
She also received her gift from my family yesterday morning when waking up. Steve and I (ok, mostly Steve) put it together on Saturday night.
A new kitchen!
She got started right away on breakfast. Oh, and that bedhead? Don’t judge. I look the same way in the morning when I make breakfast… minus the curls ![]()
She loves it!!
We are having a small family get together here on Saturday which should be a lot of fun.
Oh and remember the play house that Steve and his Dad were building?
The left pic was the base of it last week. And the right is what I came home to today!
It’s coming along well! I know Sophie cannot wait to get her hands on that thing haha.
There is a slide and a ladder, plus some side rails (for safety) to go on. We’ll have our own little play ground for the summer. Can’t wait!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SOPHIE!
Momma Loves You!

She is so precious! Happy Birthday, Miss Sophie!
That playhouse looks awesome! I’m so glad you had a great birthday with her. Happy birthday Sophie!!
When I first got pregnant I found a bunch of pregnant bloggers (you being one of them!) and all of their babies are turning two and it’s making me realize my son is almost two too and that’s freaking me out!
She’s SO cute:) I love love love the curls. She seems like a real sweetie and I’m sure you’re just dying over her adorable British accent. haha. I think about that every time I read your blog .
Aww what great gifts
Lucky girl. And lucky mama, with such a CUTIE!! Can’t wait to see you all again. Our kids are so BIG!
Happy Birthday, Sophie. You are such a lovely little lass. My youngest is turning 2 this July and my eldest will be turning 5 this December. As a mummy I feel that I should not leave a day unattended because they grow up so fast. Cherish every moment. Cheers!
